Gilbert Masengeli on Monday took over as the new Deputy Inspector General of Administration Police Service (APS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Masengeli succeeds outgoing acting Deputy Inspector General James Kamau who was serving the same position in acting capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event took place at Jogoo House where the incoming DIG inspected a new guard of honor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Masengeli said that the he will prioritize the safety of lives and property of all residents in Kenya by ensuring that all security agencies collaborate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the new DIG, Masengeli is expected to lead with transparency, accountability, and a focus on modernizing the Administration Police Service to meet evolving security challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
