Speaker Muteti Praises Governor Waiguru\u2019s Development Record During State of the County Address<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kirinyaga, Kenya \u2013 Tuesday, November 11, 2025:
Kirinyaga County Assembly Speaker, Hon. Muteti Murimi, on Tuesday hosted Governor Anne Waiguru at the County Assembly during this year\u2019s Annual State of the County Address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Governor Waiguru\u2019s address highlighted the county\u2019s impressive progress under the Mountain Cities Blueprint 2032, with notable gains in healthcare, agricultural revitalization, infrastructure modernization, trade growth, industrial development, education, gender inclusion, and expanded access to clean water\u2014all geared toward improving livelihoods and strengthening local communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaker Murimi commended Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) for their unwavering commitment to legislation and oversight, noting that their collaboration with the Executive has ensured effective use of public resources for maximum public benefit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThese milestones demonstrate what is possible when the Executive and the Assembly work hand in hand in service to our people,\u201d Speaker Murimi said, reaffirming the Assembly\u2019s resolve to deepen service delivery and consolidate development gains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that the Assembly remains steadfast in its mission to \u201cfinish strong\u201d as Kirinyaga continues its transformation journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
