Mamo, is engaging the public on the **draft Electrical and Electronic Waste Management Regulations, 2025, and the *<em>Environmental (Strategic Assessment, Integrated Impact Assessment and Audit) Regulations, 2025<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Friday, a <em>public participation forum<\/em> was held at *Dedan Kimathi University, Nyeri County, in line with the **Environmental Management and Coordination Act (EMCA), Cap 387. The exercise provided an opportunity for stakeholders and members of the public to *<em>submit comments, share views, and make recommendations<\/em> on the draft regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking during the forum, NEMA officials highlighted the importance of public input in shaping policies that address environmental protection, sustainable development, and responsible e-waste management.
