The delegation was warmly received by <em>Dr. Kiogora<\/em> and <em>Council Member Saida Ali<\/em>, with discussions focusing on initiatives aimed at strengthening special needs education and disability inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key areas of collaboration include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Training Early Childhood Development (ECD) teachers to become specialized educators,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enhancing assessment services for PWDs, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing sign language training to administrative staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The implementation of these initiatives is scheduled to begin in <em>December 2025<\/em>. This partnership is expected to make a significant impact by equipping educators, enhancing service delivery, and promoting the integration of PWDs within Mandera communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking during the meeting, <em>Dr. Norman Kiogora<\/em> welcomed the collaboration, noting:<br>\u201cWe value partnerships with counties such as Mandera and encourage others to join hands with KISE.
