UDA cites by-election victories as proof of public confidence in Kenya Kwanza<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The ruling party has pointed to recent by-election victories as evidence of growing public confidence in President William Ruto\u2019s administration and the Kenya Kwanza agenda.
Speaking at a press briefing at the headquarters of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) on Friday following victories in the Emurua Dikirr, Endo and Porto by-elections, the party\u2019s Secretary General Hassan Omar said the outcomes reflected continued support for the ruling coalition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Mr Omar thanked party supporters, coalition partners and grassroots mobilisers for backing UDA candidates, saying the party had maintained strong performances in by-elections held since the 2022 General Election.
According to the UDA Secretary General, the party has secured victories in several Member of County Assembly, parliamentary and senatorial contests, reinforcing what he described as its political competitiveness across the country.
\u201cThese victories are a clear indication that Kenyans continue to believe in the leadership of President William Ruto and the Kenya Kwanza development agenda,\u201d Mr Omar said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


He argued that the latest wins demonstrate that the ruling party remains closely connected to the electorate despite criticism from opposition leaders and what he termed sustained attacks on social media platforms.
At the same time, Mr Omar criticised sections of the opposition, accusing them of relying on divisive politics, ethnic mobilisation and propaganda instead of presenting practical solutions to challenges affecting ordinary Kenyans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


He said UDA would continue centring its campaigns on the government\u2019s development record, economic transformation programmes and public service delivery as preparations for the next General Election gather pace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Mr Omar cited affordable housing, universal healthcare, infrastructure expansion, agricultural reforms and job creation among the key pillars of the Kenya Kwanza administration\u2019s agenda aimed at improving livelihoods.
The remarks come as political parties intensify grassroots mobilisation and seek to consolidate support through a series of by-elections viewed as key indicators of voter sentiment ahead of the 2027 General Election.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
