Rebecca Miano, EGH, joined Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba at the 2026 Nyandarua High School Education Day, where she praised the institution\u2019s unique identity as Kenya\u2019s only mixed national secondary school and reaffirmed the government\u2019s commitment to strengthening education infrastructure in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking during the event, Miano noted that the school\u2019s mixed setting reflects the realities of the professional world, where men and women must coexist, compete and lead through competence, discipline and mutual respect. She encouraged students to embrace integrity, resilience and good character alongside academic excellence, saying success in life demands far more than impressive grades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tourism CS congratulated students, teachers and parents for the school\u2019s continued achievements, describing Nyandarua High School as a symbol of unity, inclusivity and national progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Miano also highlighted a series of development projects set to transform the institution under the government\u2019s support.
