The AI-driven smartphone brand partnered with Lonely Planet for this year\u2019s edition themed \u201cSeeing is Believing\u201dRunning from May through 11 October 2026, the campaign invites TECNO CAMON users to capture and share authentic Kenyan life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Nairobi\u2019s matatu culture and Diani\u2019s white sands, to village sunsets and market hustle in Kisumu and Eldoret, TECNO says every photo is \u201ca memory, a culture, a dream, and a reflection of who we are\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open to All Phone Photographers The contest is open to professional photographers, content creators, and casual smartphone users. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year, Kenyan creator Patrick Biwot aka StarChase was among global winners, proving local talent can compete internationally. \u201cThis year, TECNO believes the next big winner could be anyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The student capturing campus life, the mother documenting family moments, the boda boda rider catching a beautiful sunset after a long day, or the young creator turning everyday experiences into art,\u201d the company said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
