Among those who bore witness to the harrowing events of September 11, 2001, at the World Trade Center in New York City is Mr. Michel Okenghe\u2014a man whose resilience has taken him from the chaos of lower Manhattan to the boardrooms of North America and, finally, to the burgeoning technology corridors of East Africa.For Okenghe, a life defined by borders, reinvention, and digital mastery began long before that fateful morning in New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Global Childhood and the American Dream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, young Michel\u2019s journey across continents started in 1986, when his parents relocated the family to Paris, France. Growing up in the French capital provided a cosmopolitan foundation, but the pull of new horizons drew him across the Atlantic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2000, driven by an ambition to discover greater professional opportunities, Okenghe moved to the United States.Little did he know that his arrival in New York City would soon test his endurance in unimaginable ways. Working in the heart of Manhattan during the turn of the millennium, Okenghe found himself caught in the tragic events of 9-11 at the World Trade Center. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emerging as a survivor from a catastrophe that reshaped modern history, he chose to channel his survival into steadfast determination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He remained in New York City for a decade, building a solid career and establishing himself as a dedicated Information Management officer in one of the world’s most demanding corporate environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Canadian Chapter: Scaling New Heights<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By 2010, seeking fresh professional challenges, Okenghe made the bold decision to relocate north to Canada. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This move marked the beginning of a new chapter. Leveraging his extensive background, he transitioned into roles as a Project Manager in Information Management, lending his expertise to a diverse portfolio of prominent private and public sector companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

True to his entrepreneurial spirit, Okenghe did not stop at corporate leadership. In 2018, he took the leap to found his own firm\u2014specializing in project management, digital transformation, and information governance. Under his stewardship, the company grew, helping organizations navigate the complexities of the digital age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
