Unlike conventional platforms operating in the country that disburse earnings on a weekly or monthly basis, BebaFleet processes driver commissions immediately upon completion of each trip.

The platform has so far onboarded approximately 6,000 drivers and registered between 10,000 and 20,000 users. To drive consumer adoption, the firm is offering promotional discounts for first-time riders and leveraging a digital marketing campaign, allocating 90 percent of its promotional budget to social media platforms.

Maimbu outlined ambitious growth targets, stating that the fully Kenyan-owned and funded enterprise aims to become the leading ride-hailing platform in Kenya by the end of the year before rolling out operations regionally.

“Our goal in the next five years is to expand into a Pan-African platform, extending service coverage into neighboring markets including Uganda and Tanzania,” Maimbu said, appealing to local commuters to support indigenous digital technology platforms.

Kenyan ride-hailing app BebaFleet targets local market expansion with lower commission rates Homegrown Kenyan ride-hailing…

[1

post-9955","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
