KEPHIS SHINES AT MOMBASA ASK SHOW AS CS MUTAHI KAGWE VISITS STAND UNDER CHAIRMAN M’ERUAKI’S LEADERSHIP

The Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service (KEPHIS) was today honoured to host the Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, Hon. Mutahi Kagwe, at its stand during the ongoing Mombasa ASK Show.

The CS was received and taken around the stand by the KEPHIS Board led by Board Chairman Hon. Joseph M’eruaki M’uthari and his team. Chairman M’uthari took the CS through KEPHIS’s critical mandate in safeguarding Kenya’s agriculture, including its vital inspection role at the Port of Mombasa aimed at preventing the entry and spread of destructive pests and diseases that could cause devastating losses to farmers and the economy.

Under the wise and visionary leadership of Chairman Joseph M’eruaki M’uthari, KEPHIS has continued to strengthen its regulatory and service delivery role, ensuring food safety, quality seeds, and protection of Kenya’s plant health.

This commitment to excellence was recognized as KEPHIS scooped 5 prestigious awards at this year’s show:

🥈 The Best Stand That Interprets the Current Show Theme (Agricultural based)
🥈 The Best Innovation and Invention Stand
