Teso South MP Mary Otucho Emaase has reaffirmed her commitment to education and community development with an inspection tour of the ongoing construction of two modern classrooms at Okerebwa Primary School in Amongura Sub-location, Chakol South Ward.
The project, fully funded through the Teso South National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF), is expected to be completed within a few months and is aimed at improving learning conditions for the growing student population.
MP Emaase, accompanied by Constituency Manager James Omuke, expressed her personal connection to the school, noting that she initiated its establishment during her first term in Parliament (2013–2017). Since then, Okerebwa Primary School has steadily grown in enrollment and academic performance, becoming a beacon of affordable and accessible education in the region.
She assured residents of her continued support for educational development, emphasizing that investing in learning facilities directly uplifts communities and shapes the future of the next generation.
“As your MP, I remain committed to strengthening our education infrastructure, not just here at Okerebwa but across Teso South. Together, we will continue to uplift our communities through meaningful development,” she said
