Lugari, Kakamega County – Wednesday, November 12, 2025:
The Hon. Dr. Isaac G.M. Andabwa, General Secretary of the Kenya National Private Security Workers Union, has joined residents of Lugari Constituency in mourning the tragic death of the late Mr. Isiaho, Principal of Munyuki Secondary School, whose body was recently recovered in River Kipkaren following a suspected abduction and murder.
Dr. Andabwa has appealed to the bereaved family to postpone any burial arrangements until the perpetrators of this heinous act are arrested, charged, and brought to justice, emphasizing the need for due process and accountability before the final rites are conducted.
“This brutal killing has deeply pained us all. The late Principal was a respected leader and educator whose life must not be lost in vain. We call upon law enforcement agencies to move with speed and ensure justice is served,” said Dr. Andabwa.
He further urged teachers across the country—especially those in Kakamega County—to remain calm and allow the ongoing national examinations to continue uninterrupted, noting that students are equally affected by the tragedy and deserve to complete their exams in peace.
Dr. Andabwa also called on the police and other relevant government agencies to expedite investigations and bring the culprits to book swiftly, to enable the community to give the late Principal a dignified send-off.
“We must allow justice to prevail, and only then can the family and the education fraternity find closure,” he added.
