Director General Pius Maasai Mwachi Leads Humanitarian Tribute to the Odinga Family in Bondo

Pius Maasai Mwachi EMS-I, EMT, OGW Director General and Founding Member of PIMAC International, has been lauded for his generosity, compassion, and steadfast commitment to humanitarian service. On Saturday, 29th November 2025, Mr. Mwachi led a global humanitarian delegation to pay tribute to the family of RT. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga in Bondo.

The PIMAC International Humanitarian Delegation was warmly received by Betty Odinga and other family representatives, who expressed heartfelt gratitude for the visit. Although Mama Ida Odinga was away on official family business in Nairobi, her security detail extended a warm welcome on her behalf, with a promise of a future meeting once she returns to Bondo.

Acts of Service and Remembrance

During the visit, Mr. Mwachi and his team engaged in several impactful humanitarian activities, including:

Laying a wreath of flowers at the gravesite.

Conducting prayers and singing songs in honour of the late Raila Odinga.

Delivering speeches of appreciation and recognition for the Odinga family’s contributions to Kenya.

Donating assorted pens to support local students and community education.

Planting fruit tree seedlings as part of climate change and environmental sustainability initiatives, continuing the late Raila Odinga’s legacy.

Conducting a Safisha Mazingira cleanup at the gravesite, committing to continue the initiative every last Saturday of the month.

Continued Humanitarian Engagement

On 27th December 2025, Mr. Mwachi, alongside PIMAC International representatives, visited the Odinga family once again, meeting with Mama Ida Odinga, Mama Betty Oginga, and Susan Oginga. During this follow-up visit, the delegation conducted a second donation of pens, clothing for the vulnerable, and planted additional fruit trees at Opoda Farm.

Through these activities, Pius Maasai Mwachi’s leadership demonstrates a life dedicated to service, volunteerism, and sustainable community development. His unwavering commitment continues to inspire both local and global communities, proving that service to humanity is indeed service to God.

Hon. RAILA AMOLO ODINGA, through Professionalism, Humanitarian and Climate Change Initiatives Worldwide.

■Dr. Ida Odinga Appreciated Pius Masai and PIMAC International good work to the Community and appealed to the government of Kenya to consider enhancing Disaster Management Training Skills to learners from Pre-School to all levels of Education.

■She acknowledged hard work done by Pius Masai Mwachi in Disaster Management and forServing humanity with dignity.

■We were joined by Professionals friends of Raila from the Diaspora.
