Rose Wanja’s Daughter Alyssa Luciel Leads Kenya to TeenEagle Global English Competition Victory

Alyssa Luciel, daughter of Rose Wanja student at Riara Springs Girls’ High School emerge victorious at the TeenEagle Global Finals Talent Showcase in the United Kingdom.

Alyssa was among eight talented students who represented Kenya in the prestigious international English competition, delivering an outstanding performance that saw their school crowned global champions.

The victory showcased the students’ creativity, communication, collaboration and confidence while highlighting the impact of Competency-Based Education (CBE). Rose Wanja expressed immense pride in her daughter’s achievement, describing it as a dream come true and commending the school’s leadership, Principal Mrs. Mulinge, and teachers Mr. Mutwiri and Ms. Lissah for nurturing learners beyond the classroom. She also encouraged parents to support their children’s participation in global competitions, saying such opportunities help young people discover their talents, build confidence and become future leaders.
