Nairobi, Kenya, 02 September 2025: Fairtrade Africa, the independent non-profit umbrella organisation representing all Fairtrade certified producers in Africa, will be marking its 20-year anniversary with a conference on the 3rd of September 2025 at Emara Ole Sereni Hotel, Nairobi Kenya.
Since 2005, Fairtrade Africa has grown into the continentβs largest ethical certification network, representing more than 1.4 million farmers and workers across 29 countries and driving β¬650 million reinvestments into community projects. This milestone marks two decades of impact in building fairer prices, resilient communities, and sustainable trade.
The conference will bring together producers, policymakers, industry partners and global leaders under the theme: β20 Years of Fairtrade Africa: Driving Impact Through Trade.β
