
Teso South, Kenya — Member of Parliament for Teso South Constituency, Hon. Mary Emaase Otucho, held a productive meeting this morning with Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Hon. Moses Ruku, to discuss urgent socio-economic challenges facing her constituents.
The meeting focused on the rising unemployment in Teso South and the need for fair and equitable distribution of public service job opportunities. Hon. Otucho emphasized the importance of creating pathways for young people and residents to access dignified employment.
Hon. Otucho also appealed for immediate provision of food rations to families affected by recent floods, particularly in Odiria and other vulnerable areas within the constituency.
“As your representative, I remain committed to advocating for opportunities, fairness, and dignity for all residents of Teso South,” Hon. Otucho said.
The MP reaffirmed her dedication to improving livelihoods, supporting vulnerable communities, and ensuring equitable access to resources and services.
