The Miss Environment Contest 2026 has officially opened, officials said.

Fongoh Eric-Co- Founder and Coordinator of the International Centre for Environmental Education and Community Development (ICENECDEV) said that event promotes environmental governance and leadership with financial reward for winners.

Fongoh is a flagship programme of International Centre for Environmental Education and Community Development (ICENECDEV) with the aim of mainstreaming Gender Equality into Environmental Sustainability and Governance and to promote the Environmental Dimensions of the Sustainable Development Goals SDGs of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

This is Forum for girls and Women to raising their voices to planetary Crisis and Environmental Justice affecting their Communities and Countries and Raising awareness and Providing Solutions on Environmental Issues affecting Sustainable Livelihoods of people and Environment.
This miss Environment environment contest between 2025 to 2025 have sensitized and Educated more than 1,000,000 People and Engaged more than 1000 Miss Environment Contestants in Cameroon and Africa.
ICENECDEV and Miss Environment Organization(MEO) are opened for partnership and Collaboration to support the Miss Environment Contestants between 2026 to 2030.
The Miss Environment Contest for 2026 Has been launched in Nairobi Kenya at the 7th Session of the United Nations Environment Assembly(UNEA7) to raising Awareness among member states, Countries, Major Groups and Stakeholders including Businesses and Indigenous Communities.
The Theme for the Miss Environment Contest 2026 is ; Girls and Women in Environmental Leadership and Governance.This theme is in support of the outcomes of the recent 20th Session of the African Ministerial Conference on Environment(AMCEN).
