Naivas Supermarket on Thursday hosted a celebratory handover ceremony at the Naivas Head Office, officially issuing logbooks to promotion winners who drove away in one brand-new car and ten motorcycles. The event
marked another milestone in the retailer’s bold commitment to reward everyday Kenyans and power real progress through its festive Kikwetu campaign.
Speaking during the ceremony, Naivas leadership said the celebration was about more than awarding prizes – it is about honouring the journey Naivas has taken alongside Kenyan families for over 30 years.
“Today is more than a handover. It is a celebration of how far we’ve come – together,” said Mr. Andreas Von Paleske, the Naivas CEO. “Naivas began as a small, homegrown store in Nakuru, built on trust, hard work, and a simple promise to Save You Money. Today, we stand as Kenya’s
leading retailer – rooted in community, driven by people, and powered by a shared belief that
progress is best when it’s shared.”
That philosophy, Mr. Paleske noted, is the essence of Kikwetu.
“Kikwetu is how Kenya moves as one. It’s the rhythm of a thousand hustles, the shared wins,
the everyday moments that quietly grow into big dreams,” he added.
This year, Naivas expanded the festive reward programme beyond seasonal products, building a
platform designed to unlock opportunities for Kenyan shoppers. The current campaign features:

  • 6 brand-new cars
  • 45 motorcycles
  • A broad range of home appliances and electronics
  • Thousands of shopping vouchers
  • Traditional festive rewards, including the Kikwetu legendary goats and capons.“

Beyond our legendary goats and capons, we wanted to transform lives in real, lasting ways,”Ms. Florence Saronge – Naivas Head of Marketing said. “A motorbike can power a livelihood.

A car can begin a new chapter. Electronics bring homes closer to possibility. Vouchers change what tomorrow looks like. That is the spirit of Kikwetu.”
The newly awarded winners expressed joy and gratitude, highlighting Naivas’ transparency.
