Hon. James Githua Wamacukuru has once again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to education and social support through the release of a comprehensive bursary program aimed at uplifting students across Kabete Constituency.

In an official announcement dated 18th March 2026, the Kabete Member of Parliament, working closely with the NG-CDF Committee, invited parents and guardians to apply for bursary support targeting some of the most vulnerable members of society. The initiative is specifically tailored to assist students in boarding schools, day schools outside Kabete, tertiary institutions, and Persons Living With Disabilities (PLWDs), ensuring that no deserving learner is left behind due to financial constraints.

This bursary program is a clear reflection of Hon. Wamacukuru’s people-centered leadership. By prioritizing the needs of orphans, disadvantaged families, and vulnerable students, he continues to champion access to education as a fundamental pillar for community transformation. His approach not only addresses immediate financial challenges but also invests in the long-term empowerment of Kabete’s youth.

The exercise, scheduled as a one-day event on 23rd March 2026 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, will be conducted across multiple wards including Nyathuna, Muguga, Gitaru, Uthiru, and Kabete. Designated venues such as Kirangari Primary School, Gathiga Primary School, Kahuho Primary School, Kanyariri Polytechnic, Uthiru Polytechnic, and Kibichiku Primary School have been strategically selected to ensure accessibility for all residents.

Applicants are required to present essential documents including student passport photos, identification cards, proof of guardianship, school fee structures, recent receipts, academic reports, and relevant documentation for disability or orphan status. This structured process ensures transparency, fairness, and accountability in the allocation of funds.

What stands out most is the MP’s deliberate effort to bring services closer to the people. By decentralizing the issuance of bursary forms across wards, Hon. Wamacukuru has minimized barriers to access, reinforcing his reputation as a leader who listens and responds to the needs of his constituents.

Indeed, this initiative is more than just financial aidβ€”it is a statement of hope, equity, and progress. Through such programs, Hon. James Githua Wamacukuru continues to shape a future where every child in Kabete has the opportunity to pursue education and achieve their dreams, regardless of their background.
