
NANDI RECORDS 90% DROP IN DRUGS AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE, SAYS MURKOMEN

Interior and National Administration Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has commended the Nandi County security team and local administrators for their successful fight against drug and substance abuse in the county.“I want to congratulate the county security team together with our chiefs for a job well done. Drug and substance abuse has reduced in Nandi County by 90%,” he said.
The CS was speaking at St. Peter’s Cathedral in Kapsabet during Holy Mass and a resource mobilisation drive towards the development of the church’s infrastructure.
Murkomen urged the church, local communities, and their leaders to continue supporting the anti-drug campaign in order to sustain the gains made.ENDS
