This is not just an award, this is a coronation! This is a testament to a leader who does not sleep, a mother who does not rest until every daughter, every son, every mother and every youth in Nyeri feels the warmth of leadership!

Hon. Rahab Mukami is not just a Women Representative – she is THE Women Representative! She has redefined what that office means! She turned a seat that many thought was ceremonial into the most powerful engine of development, empowerment and transformation in Mt. Kenya region!

Look at her development record! In every corner of Nyeri – from Kieni, to Mathira, to Tetu, to Othaya, to Mukurweini, to Nyeri Town – her footprints are visible!

She is the Mother of Bursaries! Thousands of bright but needy students in Nyeri are in school today because Rahab Mukami paid their fees! She knows that education is the only equalizer and she has invested millions in NGAAF bursaries with transparency and fairness that has never been seen before!

She is the Champion of Women Empowerment! Through her office, women groups have received tents, chairs, car wash machines, water tanks, incubators, sewing machines and capital to start businesses! She did not give handouts, she gave tools to build wealth! Nyeri women today are entrepreneurs because one woman believed in them!

She is the Protector of the Girl Child! Her sanitary towels program has kept our daughters in school, restoring their dignity and ending period poverty in Nyeri County! No girl in Nyeri should miss school because of a natural cycle, and Hon. Rahab Mukami made that her personal mission!

She is the Voice of Nyeri in Parliament! When she stands in the National Assembly, Nairobi listens! She has fought for increased allocation for dairy farmers, coffee farmers and tea farmers – the backbone of Nyeri’s economy! She understands the pain of the farmer because she is one of us!

What makes Hon. Rahab Mukami different? Her humility! Despite being a national leader ranked NUMBER 1 in the entire country, she remains accessible! Her phone is on! Her office in Nyeri Town is open! In Parliament, she is not a flower girl! She is a debater, a legislator, a committee member who contributes with facts and passion! She has pushed for laws that protect women from gender-based violence, laws that protect children, and laws that empower persons living with disabilities!

Her NGAAF projects are visible! Modern markets with sheds for our mothers, medical camps that have given free eye checkups, cancer screening and NHIF registration to thousands, youth trainings in ICT, baking, hairdressing and plumbing that have created self-employment!

She is a unifier! In a time when politics divides, Hon. Rahab Mukami unites! She works with all MPs in Nyeri, she works with the Governor, she works with MCAs! For her, it is not about party, it is about Nyeri first! Nyeri first, always!

The Swiss Poll International did not make a mistake! They went to the ground! They asked the mothers in Karatina, the youth in Mweiga, the farmers in Endarasha, the traders in Othaya! And the answer was unanimous – RAHAB MUKAMI IS NUMBER ONE!

She scored 1st Position because her work speaks louder than any propaganda! While others are busy politicking, she is busy working! While others are making noise on social media, she is making impact in villages!
