The 2022 sports Personality ofbthe year Awards (SOYA) has received 5million kenya shillings from different corporate sponsors.

Speaking during the ceremony SOYA Founder Dr.Paul Tergat , expressed gratitude to the sporting fraternity for great effort in making a comeback to the spot light through various sports activities.

“The 19th edition of SOYA gala celebrates the continued resillience of our sports men and women who have contineud to regain traction and display their power.”, he said.

Mr.Tergat said our sports icons are our resprentative as Kenya.What they do out there leaves indelible marks and the generations to come will follow suit.As the panel of judges,we continue encourage our sportsmen and women to set a good example to the upcoming generation.

In attendance was Renowned sportman Hon Henry Wanyoike who urged other talented sportsmen to build a credible sports career.
