Nairobi, Kenya — October 2025:
The Chairman of the Real Estate Stakeholders Association (RESA), Mr. James Kinyua Wairatu, has welcomed the call by Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President, Ms. Faith Odhiambo, for greater collaboration among stakeholders in the real estate sector.

Speaking during the RESA Annual Dinner, Ms. Odhiambo emphasized that joint efforts and dialogue among key players are essential in addressing the persistent challenges facing Kenya’s real estate industry.

“The real estate sector thrives on trust, transparency, and collaboration. It is only through collective action that we can build systems that protect investors, property owners, and practitioners alike,” said Ms. Odhiambo.

She further underscored the need for closer engagement between the LSK and the Ministry of Lands, particularly in addressing the growing concern over illegitimate title deeds, which has left many landowners uncertain about the legality of their property.

Mr. Wairatu applauded the LSK President’s remarks, noting that collaboration between legal and real estate professionals will strengthen the sector’s integrity, enhance investor confidence, and promote sustainable development.
