Francis Nduhiu Wahome, Chairman of the Association of Skilled Migrant Agencies of Kenya (ASMAK), warmly welcomed the renewed commitment by Kenya and Saudi Arabia to strengthen bilateral labour cooperation, describing it as a significant milestone in expanding safe, orderly and dignified overseas employment opportunities for Kenyan workers.

He commended Cabinet Secretary Dr. Alfred Mutua for his proactive engagement with the Saudi Arabian Government, noting that the strengthened partnership will boost confidence in Kenya’s labour mobility programme while creating more opportunities for skilled and semi-skilled Kenyans to secure decent jobs abroad.

Wahome said the continued collaboration reflects Kenya’s growing reputation as a reliable source of highly skilled, disciplined and professional workers, adding that sustained dialogue between the two countries will enhance worker protection, promote ethical recruitment practices and unlock greater economic opportunities for thousands of Kenyan families. He reaffirmed ASMAK’s commitment to supporting the government’s efforts in ensuring safe, transparent and mutually beneficial labour migration.
